The Sarah J. Pickering Circle of Friends Legacy Society

Be a Part of Our Society

Since 1905 when John Pickering, NHSPCA board member and husband of our founder, Sarah J. Pickering, made a bequest to the Society, planned gifts have been instrumental in creating and growing this agency into what it has become today. As a result of his bequest, the Sarah J. Pickering Circle of Friends Legacy Society was created and others with a vision and passion for the animals joined by making planned gifts to benefit the animals.

The NHSPCA has touched the lives of almost 200,000 animals in need. Through contributions and planned gifts, we were able to build the Adoption, the Learning Center for Pets and People and hope to continue to expand and grow in the future. Planned gifts have made possible the monumental changes that continue to improve the lives of animals here and throughout the community.

There are numerous ways in which individuals and families have made planned gifts to the charities of their choice. This tremendous foresight and ultimate gift will have a lasting impact on the animals and those who care for them.

If you are interested in joining the Sarah J. Pickering Circle of Friends and making a planned gift to the NHSPCA, please complete this Bequest Intention Form.

Thank you for your interest in making a gift of a lifetime to support the future animals in need.
